Hello and welcome to Indiepocalypse!

Indiepocalypse is a curated monthly collection looking to highlight the very best of the alternative indie game scene. 

Each month features games by 10 different developers, including a newly commissioned game exclusive to the bundle-zine. The games cover a wide variety of styles, genres, and themes as they fight against any definition of "indie game" as a genre.

Also, and this part is very important to me and should truly be taken as given, each contributor is paid and developers are paid royalties on all future sales.

Roman Blasters (Physical) by Data Sparrow Collective

Roman Blasters is a 2-4 player card combat game largely inspired by strategic depths of Buckshot Roulette combined with the casual elements of UNO, Exploding Kittens, and a digital party minigame from the mid-2000s. Clash head-on with your opponents in a battle to be the last player standing drawing a variety of weapons, shields and support items.

A Winter Away (WIN) by Roman Hyacinths

A Winter Away is a short, hand-drawn visual novel about a daughter duck who recently moved far away from her aging mama. Write letters back and forth! Chat with the mailbirb!

Loosely inspired by Winnie the Pooh, bitsy games, and the playwright Velina Hasu Houston,  A Winter Away is the first game in a series of bite-sized visual novels set in the same cozy world.

Skyward Sanctuary (Browser) by Jennifer S. Lange

A relaxed kid-friendly text adventure, about building the best treehouse ever to cheer up your sick friend. Comes in German and English.

Syf is a short and simple game, one where an unsettling, wacky clay world lends itself to your exploration. No real goal or grand mission - just have fun clicking around and discovering.
