Hello and welcome to Indiepocalypse!

Indiepocalypse is a curated monthly collection looking to highlight the very best of the alternative indie game scene. 

Each month features games by 10 different developers, including a newly commissioned game exclusive to the bundle-zine. The games cover a wide variety of styles, genres, and themes as they fight against any definition of "indie game" as a genre.

Also, and this part is very important to me and should truly be taken as given, each contributor is paid and developers are paid royalties on all future sales.

Night Owls (WIN/MAC) by Vine Moss Games

In 2004, Serenity Scott was a sophomore at Mercer University, studying anthropology and computational science. Investigators say she engaged in frequent online conversations with an unidentified individual that went by the psuedonym "hoot83", whose identity has never been verified.

Serenity Scott was last seen on October 22nd, 2004. To this day, her whereabouts are unknown. No evidence suggests there was foul play. Night Owls is a ~20 min unsettling narrative that marks the 20-year anniversary of the disappearance of a 20-year-old woman.

CANIDAE (WIN/MAC/Linux) by Ozone Interactive

CANIDAE is a short horror visual novel about a gang of friends in animal masks on Halloween, and the ways in which they begin to change.

The moonlight illuminates the animal that lies within everyone. Will you embrace it; or fight back?

On your way home one gloomy night, you find a book on the sidewalk titled "Don't Open This Book."  Do you?

Your choices will change not just what happens, but what has happened.  Is this a mystery, a family story, horror, science fiction?  Genre Issues meet Daddy Issues in this meditative fiction journey.

Monkey Business is a storytelling game for 1+ players. Play as a monkey pretending to be a human. You must cover for your sick owner and pretend to be an office worker for a day. How hard could it be?
