Indiepocalypse #62
A downloadable game for Windows
ISSUE #62
Cover - Nahla Hambazaza
Hello and welcome to Indiepocalypse!
Indiepocalypse is a curated monthly collection looking to highlight the very best of the alternative indie game scene.
Each month features games by 10 different developers, including a newly commissioned game exclusive to the bundle-zine. The games cover a wide variety of styles, genres, and themes as they fight against any definition of "indie game" as a genre.
Also, and this part is very important to me and should truly be taken as given, each contributor is paid and developers are paid royalties on all future sales.
This Month's Games
Verses (WIN/MAC/Linux) by Kit Riemer
In Verses, you play as Eca: a data analyst working in a laboratory on the coast of far-future Romania. The land around you is grey and dead, the residents sickened and mutated by the poisonous soil or swept up into endless war.
But your job is not to save the world — rather to understand it, digging deeply into the meaning of objects, organisms, and poems. Keep your mind clear and open. Be a conduit. Stay hungry.
cybeRRRevolution (WIN/MAC) by Brujeria @ Werk

cybeRRRevolution (cyber-R-revolution) is an action-adventure game about talking with monsters, piloting godly mechas, and taking down bandits to secure a prosperous future for a nation in a post-war reality. Play as Sepsis, Rebel, or Barrett, each working toward a common goal of Recovery, Reconnection, and Rebuild.
Unusual Farm Operations (WIN) by skooka
You are an alien in a UFO above a remote farm. Scan animals, collect samples, and find knickknacks.
Charmolypi (WIN) by Creatalsoftware
After a young and mysterious girl named Castranom arrives at a small hut near a lake occupied by recluse Afeil, the two begin a friendship and find solace in each other. As Castranom learns to fish at the lake, watch as the two grow closer and their own past come to light in a short little fishing game.
DEMIAN (WIN/MAC/Linux) by zigzadig
Sinclair is torn between a monochromatic understanding of the world of childhood and the ambiguity of adulthood. As Emil dives deeper, he’s caught in a swirling journey where dreams and desire are indistinguishable from reality.
Emil Sinclair’s path is lined with bizarre encounters. Maybe a strange boy with a mouth full of biblical riddles can help him find his way.
A pointandclick/visual novel game.
Ommatophilia (WIN/MAC/Linux/Browser) by Mala
Ommatophilia is a surreal RPGmaker horror game. It draws inspiration from classics like Mad Father and OFF, as well as newer titles such as 8:11 and re:curse. It is about motherhood, friendship, and the impermanence of stasis.
You play as Angel Cakes. Your friend is leaving soon. Life isn’t great, but you do your best to navigate through it. There's nothing in life more important to you than your friendships, even if it seems like everyone is evolving without you.
Wonscotonach (WIN) by Len Predko
The sound of dripping water echos around you, but you aren't alone in the dark. Caught in a recurring moment, you need to find a way to escape- or help
How are you feeling? (WIN/MAC/Linux/Browser) by Razi Rupert???
Let’s say theoretically:
your pals Pa has been misgendering you
when you’re not there.
And this really well bothers you, ya know tHeOrETIcally.. uh, how one supposed to respond to that? I mean, it's not like you're gonna change his mind??
Right??
something strange has come over god's country tonight (WIN) by Laura Swanton
surreal horror game about feelings of repressed queerness, and navigating queerphobic surroundings and infrastructures.
*NEWLY COMMISSIONED FOR INDIEPOCALYPSE*
YOUNGSIN FLESHDYNAMICS (WIN) by ZIK
Discover a game riddled with unknown language. Experience deranged, 'house-crawler' arcade experience vaguely inspired by ancient horrour games like Biohazard and Silent Hill.

I'm having an issue launching the games in this pack! This is the error message I'm getting. Does anyone know of a solution?
That's odd. I tried all the games and they all launch for me. (aside from Young-sin Fleshdynamics which I knew didn't work with the launcher). Maybe someone more familiar with Godot can post what that error means? The only error I've gotten in the past is when I've gotten the path/names wrong, so make sure you didn't move any of the files around after you unzipped it.
That said, the launcher is just a fancy wrapper so you can always launch the games individually from their folders.
Oh my goodness gracious, I feel so silly!!!!! It exported improperly and left out the games folder lmao
Thank you so much for your help!!! I'm absolutely loving the pack so far c: 💖
Oog this issue seems right up my alley.. excitingg!
