A downloadable game for Windows
ISSUE #64

Hello and welcome to Indiepocalypse!
Indiepocalypse is a curated monthly collection looking to highlight the very best of the alternative indie game scene.
Each month features games by 10 different developers, including a newly commissioned game exclusive to the bundle-zine. The games cover a wide variety of styles, genres, and themes as they fight against any definition of "indie game" as a genre.
Also, and this part is very important to me and should truly be taken as given, each contributor is paid and developers are paid royalties on all future sales.
This Month's Games
Flight Risk (WIN/MAC) by Aidan Strong
In Flight Risk, players assume the role of an air traffic controller communicating with a damaged aircraft. Using limited communication systems and a vague manual, you must help the pilot land their vessel.
This is a short game about deciphering systems and interactions. You will fail many times before you succeed.
To Ham | Sisyphus is happy (WIN) by Lore (3DGoblinDev)

I got sad two times and made two games.
To Ham: Memorial for my frog.
Sissyphus is happy: One does not need to imagine Sisyphus happy if they can see him smiling. (Breakups are hard)
Rendezvous (Physical) by Magikya Studios
Rendezvous is a one-page scavenger hunt game where you will create stories for things around you (even for non-physical elements like emotions or memories).
Being a lyric game, the experience is all in the reading! You don't need much aside from the rulebook, your imagination and maybe a six-sided die / d6 if you want to roll the available results from the lists in the page.
hairy eyeballs (WIN) by MalinaZhnita
shave your eyeballs while you discover some girls thoughts on this desolate island. tackle nationhood, transness and what it means to be a woman.
Cow Carries (WIN) by Reece and Freya
Limp-wristed story about what it means to be a cowboy or something. Talk to people, get talked to, carry around some objects, carry around some knowledge, make bulls kiss each other, enter the wrong kind of salon, couple other things to do too. Don't get heatstroke out in the dessert! (don't worry you can't get heatstroke, and there's no dessert)
Angel x Demon Cultural Exchange (WIN/Linux) by Glueblade
A small group of angels and demons attend a conference to see if they can build up mutual understanding. Will the differences between a yaoi-loving angel and a demon with a handholding fetish prove too much? Will a short angel finally find the short-angel-loving demon of their dreams?
Maybe the endless war between heaven and hell can come to an end after all… Through the power of cultural exchange and communication
Cinderella's Spark (WIN/MAC) by Jellybi
Cinderella's stepsister decides she wants to help her... but it seems like she's hiding a terrible secret. A visual novel with six endings, taking the classic fairytale down some unexpected roads.
My Friend Was Dehydrated (WIN/Linux) by Ákos Plesznivy, Petra Hahn
Find your way through a rave while your friend is rapidly losing moisture. You got twenty seconds left and a face to remember.
DOMO PLUUME (Physical) by "PATADIGM"
DOMO PLUUME is a table-top roleplaying game (TTRPG) set in a dark, post-crisis fantasy world where playable characters PC(s) explore an inhabited wasteland ranging of FPCTSINI (dream-state spirits), Midwestern (USA) cultural artifacts, and a “rock” worshiping cult called Geosuma of the Intrepid [GI]. DOMO PLUUME asks you to find out what being a human in this new environment means to you by making choices that will help breathe into the emergent narrative that is this game. The players can find out more about SARA and the [GI] or not. Threads are created within the module for a linear narrative game from sessions 0-3 with 2 starting quests from that narrative point. This creates some boundary from community creation and helps the intermediary GM start creating with the group for the group.
Aside from player agency, “PATADIGM” has created a 1 page rule set that is custom to the game. Some of these mechanics are an afterlife “spirit” mechanism for your character to role-play themselves as a spirit, chart of morph table for dream/psionic state encounters, and stat inclusions such as Vibe and Luck.
*NEWLY COMMISSIONED FOR INDIEPOCALYPSE*
Daydream Heartbeat Cure (WIN/MAC) by Nichole Shinn
Daydream Heartbeat Cure is an auto-biographic poetic expression dealing with chronic depression and isolation. Help Blue find relief in a lonely moment by dreaming big and beautifully.
*BONUS*Electric Zine Maker (WIN/MAC) by alienmelon
